"We have an existing Java eagle population there were 19 heads and 200 tails previously reached," said Forest Ecosystem Control Officer at the National Crop Area Salak Mountain Mist (TNGHS), Dede Nugraha, Wednesday.

He said that, to prevent the extinction of the eagle in the forest-java-Hazy Mount Salak, then it is also tight security in addition to disseminating information and counseling to people living near forest areas for conservation.
TNGHS protected forest areas that include three Regency ie, Lebak, Bogor and Sukabumi, many wildlife species are protected by the government. For example, the Javanese eagle, gray gibbons, leopards and others, he said.
"We ask people not to happen hunting of rare animals because it would harm our children," he added.
Meanwhile, the Management Section Chief TNGHS Lebak regency, Pepen Rachmat, pointed out that until recently the existing eagle species in the conservation of forest there are 16 species, including Javanese eagle, black eagle, eagle alap-alap nipon, brontak eagle, eagle rubber stomach , alap-alap eagles mice, a large sea eagle, and hawk alap-alap java.
