Pets

Traveling with pets is now with the newly established passport DeutschEnglishfrançais animals much easier. Requirements for traveling with animals can be read here.
Traveling with your dog or cat is now much easier with the new EU passport for pets that you can expose any vet. Each dog and cat must have a passport with the data on vaccination against rabies. Ireland, Malta, Sweden and the UK require a minimum of 30 June 2010 is also evidence of the effectiveness of vaccination.
When traveling to Ireland, Malta and the UK still requires treatment against ticks and tapeworms. Also, Finland and Sweden require that animals have been treated against tapeworms.
The animal must be identified by an electronic microchip. This is already required in Ireland, Malta and the UK, while elsewhere in July 2011 to identify more clearly readable tattoo is sufficient.
